To few
kilometers from the city of Arezzo, along the ancient road Roman
Cassia Vetus to the slopes of the Pratomagno, Castiglion
Fibocchi rises; it is this a characteristic Tuscan commune that

Bocco.”
The carnival of the Children of Bocco is an ancient
demonstration where the two hundred figurantis, suits with
fantastic customs and with the face concealed by precious masks
of cartapesta, with their elegant reverences they invite the
guest to enter in an arcane limbo where the time doesn't have
dimension anymore.
For the beauty and the care of the particular one of the customs
and the atmosphere that he creates, the demonstration of
Castiglioni has been more times compared of Venice to that, and
of such comparison the “Children of Bocco” they are fierce of
it.
The demonstration gives space to varied artists of road,
theatrical representations, gastronomic stands and of varied
intrattenimento and shows pirotecnici.
The Demonstration is articulated in two days, Saturday evening
with the discourse of " King " " Bocco " that inaugurates the
Carnival and the Sunday with all the shed masks for the suburbs
of the country and the following parade
